Order-ahead for coffee shops: shorter lines, no app to download

How a neighbourhood coffee shop can take pickup orders from its own website, mark drinks sold out in seconds and keep regulars coming back with a stamp card.

The morning rush is when a coffee shop makes most of its money — and when the line out the door quietly sends people somewhere else. Order-ahead fixes that, but most shops only get it through a marketplace app that owns the customer and takes a cut of every order.

With SprytStack the menu, the cart and the orders live on the shop's own website. Customers order from their phone, see when it'll be ready and walk past the line. No app to download, no account required.

What the customer sees

  1. 01

    Open the menu

From Google, Instagram or a QR code on the counter — it's the shop's own site.

  2. 02

    Order and pay

Pick drinks and pastries and pay by card, straight into the shop's own Stripe account.

  3. 03

    Follow the order

A tracking page shows when it's accepted, being prepared and ready for pickup.

What the shop sees

  • An orders board — received, accepted, preparing, ready, picked up — one tap to move each order along.
  • Sold out? Mark the oat latte unavailable and it disappears from the menu right away.
  • Slammed? Pause online orders, then switch them back on when the rush is over.
  • A digital stamp card, so regulars collect a stamp every visit and earn the reward you choose.

Even from a chat

Owners who use Claude, Cursor or another AI assistant can connect it to the shop. “We're out of oat milk — mark the oat latte sold out” or “How many orders this morning?” works without opening the dashboard.

Your customers, your menu, your website — the orders stay yours.
